it's relaxing time

sometimes it just feels like such a relief when the weekend rolls around.
this week was slightly full on so I'm chilling out tonight with a glass of wine after catching up with a great friend.
best of all i'm giving myself the weekend "off" and going to busselton tomorrow morning for a few days.
looking forward to a quiet winter beach and catching up with some darling people.

including an op shop raid where we picked up 70's dresses and scarfs, a vintage woollen coat, a black beaded bag and a big bunch of other stuff for a mere 28 dollars.

need the weekend again.

bit of an update:

i did buy a car last week.

it has some rockin roof racks too.

i think i might have to take up surfing or other sport requiring roof racks.

(to transport said equipment).

otherwise they may be 'stolen' by one of a few interested males who believe they could put them to better use.

will get some 'lately' pictures up soon.

been a bit too slack/busy/tired/preoccupied/other to get around to photos.

a royal friday

i'm just going to admit, i love a royal wedding.

i'm no fanatic, but i am about to go home and watch the ceremony.

maybe just to see the dress.

maybe cause i'm a big romantic at heart.

(shhh… don't tell anyone that).

anyway, have a wonderful weekend.

i'm going to attempt to buy a new car (sigh).

must also go grocery shopping (even bigger sigh).

but all that aside hopefully have a happy one.

friday joy

there is something so romantic and intriguing about old photos.

i love this one.

sheer joy.

it also cools me of a bit.

dreaming of cooler weather believe it or not.

it is meant to be autumn.

meant being the operative word.

i'm a little over the heat.

especially when i've committed myself (in my own head)

to go for a run after work at the beach.

there is no love in friday peak hour traffic.

so train or run.

i chose run.

kick start my weekend.

hopefully.
