air race

the red bull air race came to perth this past weekend.

i LOVE it.

it's so exhilarating to watch!!

(hmmm... sorry for my sky photo obsession lately)

bateman sunset

the glorious sky from my backyard last saturday evening.

so calming.

meet dante

... a beautiful little boy for dear friends rob and charlene.

he's just adorable!!!

i couldn't get enough hugs.

and yes, charlene is wonder mum!

out of hospital two or three days after a caesar and doing amazingly.

so happy for you guys.

greetings

one of my pet hates is browsing rows and rows of badly designed greeting cards.

i look at one, choose it, wonder why i'd spend $5.95 on a mediocre piece of folded paper, continue to search for something better, and waste a good half an hour of my life in the process.

and with a few special occasions happening lately i needed a card or 4.

voila.

i think i'll do a whole series.

having too much fun with them.

graphic inspiration

just some of the designs that are inspiring me right now.

from 'everywhere' including frost design, hornall anderson, graphic hug, dieline, grafik and ag design to name a few.

heart kids posters

the new posters i designed to raise awareness for heart kids.

now beautiful and tiny is william, the first little guy.

he had heart surgery while still in his mothers womb.

what a little fighter!

friday sunset

just another sunset i got to enjoy.

the best ones are at the end of a working week, sitting at the beach, cool wind in your hair and the company of a good friend.

it was great idea bunky.

thanks.

miss you already.

fremantle love

just a photo i took in fremantle a little while back.

love that place.

wedding bells and wedding belles

josh and cheri's wedding really was an occasion to remember!!!

apart from one of the best receptions i have even been to

(trust me – I've been to a fair few weddings in my time),

there was my 2 BEST friends to share it with – go the musketeers.

did we have fun? can't you tell?

and how beautiful did cheri look?

i know it's cliche but so true.

(thanks lisa and heidi for the photos i stole from you fb pages.

one of those days where i was having too much fun and forgot to get my camera out.)

how to make anzac biscuits

picture this: a relaxing good friday afternoon at the 'g boys' house.

heidi: lets bake some anzac biscuits.

me: great idea.

= heidi bakes while i take photos.

more confirmation that i am indeed not kitchen material.

i had fun though from the other side of the bench.

note: if you want the recipe ask heidi – i have no idea
