last night i threw a dinner party for my musketeers (+ their boys).

we had an absolutely amazing night sitting out in the still summery night at des and sylvia’s.

hours of good food, great wine, fantastic conversation and so much laughter.

i am truly blessed to have such beautiful friends.

my aunty christine was my style icon when i was a kid.

she was (still is) arty and interesting and I wanted to be as stylish as her.

visiting her (and her gorgeous house) the other day was no exception.

her space is filled with gorgeous details, tiny patterned tiles from spain, old photos of oma, beautiful textures, pottery she made in her uni days, jars of art supplies and on and on...

walking around and admiring her space made me feel like that child again, and as always, I am beautifully inspired.
