i (finally) finished updating my boudoir.

finishing touches of a repainted dresser, sheer curtains, artwork, mirrored surfaces and sheepskin rug.

just in time for the arrival of my very arty and designer little sis.

i must feel the need to impress.

western australia has so many gorgeous beaches and i should see more of them.

family weekend

i had a WONDERFUL weekend in tasmania.

the main reason was for this mini trip was my darling cousin trent's wedding.

which oddly enough i have no photos of.

(forgetting my camera and not charging my iphone doesn't help).

the mostly cold weather, hayfever, and lack of sleep were all so worth putting up with.

i got to play games with my nieces, go for a swanky lunch with my brother, drive through some beautiful countryside, catch up with most of my extended family, enjoy tasmanian pinot noir, hug best friends and laugh until my sides hurt.

lately...

loving my new three seater brown leather couch.

great to stretch out on at the end of the day.

enjoying sunday night(cap) scotch with friends.

could quite happily make that a ritual.

especially if accompanied by a bit of sinatra.

had a lovely surprise with my spoonful magazine in the post yesterday.

the verdict is, IT'S FANTASTIC.

positive, dreamy and really is a happiness companion.

(secret wish of mine to create my own little magazine one day).

i love it so much i'll have to order the others too.

so happy when i get mail that isn't bills.

yesterday's mail was perfect with a magazine, a wedding invite, a christmas card (and only one bank statement).

mr postman, keep that up.
